POLYMORPHING!

POLYMORPHING! is a quiet, reflective point-and-click game by devillierscloete. You're alone in an apartment, waiting behind closed doors while life outside carries on. There's no score, timer or way to fail: you explore the rooms, look out of the windows, watch the people who pass by and read what the objects around you have to say. It's about the slow work of getting ready, told through observation.

It's mouse only. Click the floor to walk around the apartment, click an object to walk over and examine it, and click a window to look outside. While looking out, click the people passing by to learn something about them, and use Back to return to the apartment. Click the dialog box to advance text. Sound starts after your first click, and the fullscreen button below the game window gives the best view.

Each window faces a different street, and the people outside come and go, so it's worth checking more than once. Some objects say something new when you examine them a second time. The developer recommends playing with headphones.

Take your time – there's nothing to rush. Revisit objects and windows after a while to catch new lines and new passers-by. A Windows download is also available if you prefer to play offline.
