Rain Bomb!

Rain Bomb! is a small strategy game by Cujo Johnson, made in three hours for Trijam #392. Townspeople pop out of buses, taxis, buildings and shops, each wanting to reach the bakery, the hotel or their apartment – and then get back to their ride. The catch: the rain is fatal. You are the umbrella, and you have to escort everyone safely. Lose five residents and it's over.

Your mouse cursor is an umbrella. Click a resident to pick them up; they follow the umbrella, but they only stay safe while they're under it. A glowing purple orb shows where each person wants to go. Click again at a sheltered spot to leave someone there safely while you help others.

Use shelters – parking people under cover lets you juggle several residents instead of escorting one at a time. Move steadily so the person keeps up and stays beneath the umbrella. Check the purple orb before you set off so you don't walk someone the wrong way, and remember they also need to get back to their bus or taxi.
